Changes or Cancellations

While we will make every effort to accommodate changes to an order or facilitate its cancellation, please note that in most cases, this may not be possible. Our operational system follows a "just in time" approach for picking, packing, and shipping, which means that by the time you request a change or cancellation, your order may have already been dispatched.


Missing or Damaged Orders

If your order fails to arrive or arrives with missing items, please allow an additional working day for any missing boxes to be delivered. If, after the second working day, you are still awaiting delivery, kindly get in touch with us via our contact us page. Please ensure that you provide your order number and contact details in the email.

In the event that your order arrives and any items are damaged, we kindly request you to take photographs of the damaged items and email them to enquiries@artysanbaker.co.uk. In your email, please clearly state the invoice/order number, the product code, and the quantity of the damaged items.


Returns Procedure

We kindly request that you observe the following procedure:

  • Ensure that the case(s) are securely sealed and in their original condition.

  • Include the invoice with the item(s) being returned and state the reason for the return.

  • Carefully re-package the goods, ensuring they are securely prepared for return.


    Should you require us to arrange a collection, we can do so, but please bear in mind that this service will incur a charge based on the rates set by our logistics partner. As we operate on a minimal mark-up policy, we are unable to cover the expense of return collections.


    Order Information

    Placing Your Order

    You have the convenience of ordering our freshly made organic biscuits, cakes, muffins and bars up to 60 days in advance. For last-minute orders, you can place an order until 4pm the day before (2pm on Sundays for nationwide deliveries) to receive your delivery the next day*. All our products are made using natural ingredients at our bakery.

    *During busy periods, we may have limitations on next-day orders.

    We understand that sometimes you may have a sweet emergency. In such cases, it is best to contact us directly and inquire about the availability of products for collection. Our store is open seven days a week.

    London Delivery (within the M25 radius)

    Where, When, and How Much?

    We offer delivery of all our products throughout the M25 area, including organic biscuits, cakes, muffins and bars and more.

    Our delivery options include:

  • All-day delivery slot starting from £6.99

  • Morning delivery starting from £9.90 (Monday to Friday)

  • Saturday delivery starting from £9.99


  • We kindly request that you keep your phone nearby to facilitate smooth and timely delivery of your order.


    About Our Deliveries

    Our drivers will send you a text message when they are nearing your delivery location. The time frame for this notification may vary depending on the distance and traffic, ranging from 40 to 5 minutes before arrival. Upon reaching your address, our drivers will knock or ring the doorbell to deliver your order.

    IMPORTANT: Please ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery at the specified address. Keep your phone accessible as we may need to contact you.


    If no one is available to accept the delivery at your home:

  • We will attempt to deliver to one of your neighbors or leave the parcel at your doorstep.

  • Please note that a redelivery charge will apply if the delivery fails due to unavailability and if the driver's call goes unanswered.


  • If your order is intended as a surprise delivery for someone else, please make sure to inform the recipient in advance. We kindly advise that if nobody is available to accept the treats, the same conditions as mentioned above will apply.


    Nationwide Delivery

    Monday to Saturday

    We rely on DPD to deliver our treats nationwide. Each item is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition.

    Certain postcodes may require longer delivery times, and there are specific areas where we are unable to deliver. For more information, please refer to our dedicated page on delivery restrictions.


    Special Orders & Multiple Deliveries

    Packaging

    At Artysan Baker, we take great care in packaging our products to ensure they arrive in optimal condition.

    All our treats are securely packed inside shipping boxes, which bear a Fragile sticker for added care.


    Confirmation

    We provide confirmation for every order via email, allowing you to review all the details and keep track of your purchase.

    If you haven't received a confirmation email, please check your spam folder to ensure it hasn't been misdirected. If you still can't find it, kindly contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled delivery to verify the status of your order.

    Please ensure that your confirmation email includes your nominated delivery date. If it's not displayed, please contact us promptly and provide your preferred delivery date.


    Cancellation & Amendments

    For any changes or cancellations to your order, we require a notice of 48 working hours (weekdays) prior to the scheduled delivery. If the time frame is shorter, please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

    Please note that once your order has been processed and you have received tracking information, we are unable to make any amendments.

    If you have placed an order for next day delivery, you will have a 30-minute window to make changes by following the link provided in your confirmation email. After that period, we regret that we cannot cancel or modify the order.
